Tomato Hornworm

I found a tomato hornworm on SuperTom this morning. He hadn’t done too much damage. I pulled him off, which was tough. The feet are bristles. When I was pushing him around a lot (Didn’t want to get bit) he started making clicking noises and you could see his mouth parts moving. I left him out, but that may not have been a wise thing. Hopefully, some bird will pick him up for breakfast. He’s pretty big and that makes me nervous that they won’t. He’s about 4″ long and 5/8″ around. I’ll spray the plants with Bt after work.

Update: Can’t spray today. It flooded. 🙂

This spray filled up a 5 gal bucket in under a minute.
